The Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets is the Russian Deadly Alliance and one of the CIA T.A.S.K Force Paranormal Troopers as well the team member of the Federation Front. A platoon of elite special forces soldiers trained at the gulag turned secret military base to fight and defend the Motherland against the Warlords and Cong-Flicters with psychic powers and abilities. They're the rival of their American counterpart team, Elite Lightstorm Force.
Origins
In the modern age of Antichthon, Zemy Dragunov and his comrades Lev Stovinsky and Rafik Kruchevsky were once soldiers during the final year in a regional conflict. After the Cold War ended, they were sent into gulag for their hooliganism and insubordination including punching their commanding officer. For five years in a gulag prison, they planned their escape by creating a riot as the diversion. But things didn’t go as planned when they were captured by the army after they reached the surface and came down quietly as they surrendered. Instead of being sent back to their cell, they were recruited as members of an elite Spetsnaz unit for special abilities such as their psychic powers. Zemy Dragunov was selected to their secret base while his two comrades-in-arms were taken to the other base, separating from him but he will see them again soon.
After a prison riot was subdued, he was transported to a gulag alike but it turned out to be a secret military base where he was about to be trained there. There he met his first teammates, his first partner Captain Ivan "Grizzly" Nestiski, and his first team, consisted with Sergei Volken; Grigori "Spatz" Spectroski; Victor Esoxi; Igor Spatziki; Dimitri & Andrei Dvuglavyyorel; Mikhail & Nikolai Napalmski; Natasha "Fox" Mistanova; and Kristina Grisinova, under the supervision of Commander Vladimir Volgograd and Commander Alexei Novgorod. After the psychological and medical checkup, Zemy refreshed his memory from the bootcamp and endured the tortures and beatings as he remembered it. After his simulation training, however, his psychic powers were suddenly unlocked, learning his first power of telekinesis, remote view, mind drain & control, and Pyrokinesis which ironically he can breath fire like a dragon though it did give extra firepower. After days of paramilitary training, Zemy became the new captain and the leader of an elite special forces unit, the Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets.
Throughout the years, they have carried their missions of sabotage, assault raid, POW and hostage rescue, infiltration, black propaganda, and assassination, anywhere in the world including the former states of the Soviet Union.
But when the civil war broke in the country when a corrupt political party was banned over the election fraudulent and rallied its supporters to take on the government, the Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets were being dispatched into a rebel’s stronghold in the forests by night where they have learned that the Warlord Commandos were meeting with the rebel leaders to take over the country with nuclear weapons. Not only that, they also learned the truth about the conspiracy when a rogue military leader who recruited Captain Zemy and his comrades in the past joined the terrorist organization, betraying the country in the process. After the truth was discovered, they fought their way to escape as they were about to warn their commanders but they too were been betrayed but not captured while Captain Dragunov and his team were about to be captured by the Warlord Commandos but they escaped as they used their psychic powers and spread out into the wilderness while being hunted by the rebels and Warlords.
Two days after their escape and regrouped with the commanders, they were being followed by unknown agents until it was revealed to be Isabella “Crystal” Romanova and Soyuz Krustovski along with Captain Dragunov’s comrades-in-arms, Rafik and Lev. Reunited at last, they returned to their dig-in hideout and learned about the rebel’s plan. They learned that the rogue general had sold nuclear weapons to them in exchange for the regime change once the banned political party had outlived their usefulness, attempting to create a rogue nation for terrorists by blackmailing and framing the Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets as culprits for assassinating the president. With the help of the Federation Front, they had the only intel they needed to stop the rogue general’s plan and so they decided to fight back.
After they fought an enemy platoon sent by the rogue general, they interrogated the captain and learned that the nuclear warhead was located at the war-torn city where the Warlord Commandos occupied there and they had to stop them before it’s too late and raced into the city where they fought the rebels and the Warlord Commandos and aided the loyalist militia. From radio station to government buildings, they have secured the site but failed to capture the corrupt party leader after he committed suicide, but they managed to locate the warhead at the stadium where they fought their way to confront the leader of the Warlord Commandos, General Shruikan, and the traitorous rogue general and his rebel army in a bloodbath. In a fierce combat, the Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets fought them hard to stop them until they defeated two generals and then the nuclear warhead was launched into the air but it was averted by the missile interceptor and then their friendly reinforcements arrived at the stadium and the fighting stopped as the rebel surrendered and arrested the rogue general. But General Shruikan was nowhere to be found although they will face him again one day.
After the civil war ended with the government’s decisive victory, the Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets became a team of national war heroes and received Medals of Heroism for their valiant efforts to fight terrorism in their service for their country.
In post-civil war times, Captain Dragunov and his team have cleared the remnants of the rebel faction and the Warlords in the region. The team has become a member of the Federation Front for helping the loyalists to defeat the rebels and the rogue general.
Outside from the battlefield wherever they need it to go, Captain Dragunov and his team went to the annual global military competition where they met their rival team, the Elite Lightstorm Force, led by Captain Dragunov's rival, Captain Lightstorm.
On December 2012, Captain Dragunov was MIA to his team and later was found by the predecessor of the UN-GDI after the standoff between him and Drako of the Lonley Dragons. After the joint-operation in France, he's reunited with his comrades at the headquarters in Germany. Soon after the defeat of the alien invaders, the Monarchs, they resided in the Federation Front's base in Central Russia.
Following the Moscow-Beijing Blackout in October 2017, Central Russia was under attack by the Warlords and the Cong-Flicters as the entire country was thrown into complete chaos. With the help of Red Star Force and Soul Scythes, they liberated Novgorod and then aiding the Russian military to retake Moscow from the Sanctuary of Evil and rescue President Yenkirov and his staff.
Two years after the Cataclysm, Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets went to investigate the suspicious alien activity in Siberia with the assistance of Wolf Marauders and fought the invaders before the Syndrome Invaders.

Captain Zemy Dragunov
The Russian Dragonkind is the team leader of the Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets. Captain Zemy Dragunov was a former soldier from the army during the regional conflict between the fragile communist government and the rebels. After the withdrawal following the peace agreement and the Cold War ended, he and his comrades, Rafik Kruchevsky and Lev Stovinsky, are the notorious hooligan group called The Gorynych Brothers as he is “the Boss” during the military service until he was arrested for causing trouble at the base until he was recruited from the gulag. Trained and survived the brutal military training at the secret base, he mastered all the psychic powers of Telekinesis and Mind Powers to combat terrorism. He's the main rival of Captain Lightstorm.
Captain Ivan "Grizzly" Nestiski
The giant Anthro-Bear or Ursine is Captain Zemy Dragunov’s second in command. Captain Ivan Nestiski was a humble lumberjack who provided food and medicine for his family until the Soviet Union collapsed and they were freed from being politically persecuted. Until one day, when he rescued his little daughter, he crushed a malfunctioned tractor with his muscle without a scratch and later was taken to the secret base when he was recruited by the Spetsnaz. He was also a war veteran from the regional conflict who fought the insurgents singlehandedly to save his comrades. He is nicknamed "Grizzly" because he can crush his enemies with his paws and overwhelming strength by giving them a bear hug, squeezing them hard until they pass out.
Sergei Volken
The Wolfen is the assault class soldier of the team. Sergei Volken is a skilled veteran soldier who has fought the insurgents during the final years of the Cold War. After the Cold War, he became a member of the counterterrorism unit who rescued the hostages from the terrorists' hideout in the snowy forest, all by himself with his tactics before his men can go in. After his career as the counterterrorism expert, he was recruited by the military for his skills and became a member of an elite Spetsnaz unit. His main weapon is AN-94.
Grigori "Spatz" Spectroski
The Anthro-Vampire Bat is the assault sapper and engineer of the team. Grigori “Spatz” Spectroski was a member of a special airborne unit who survived the ambush as the last surviving member of his former unit and fought himself until his rescue team arrived and picked him up out of the battlefield. After the Cold War, he continued his service with the military until he was transferred to an elite Spetsnaz unit, under the command of Lieutenant Isabella “Crystal” Romanova. On his first mission with Isabella’s team, Spatz has killed dozens of Black Hell Bat Clansmen easily while guarding the munition depot from attempting to steal modern weapons and munitions into their dimension. His favorite weapon is theRPK with a drum magazine.
Victor Esoxi
The Aquatoid-like Northern Pike is the best saboteur of the team. Victor Esoxi was a member of the black ops unit who infiltrated the Warlord Navy submarine and destroyed the entire forces single-handedly at the oil rig before they could attack the country’s port. After dozens of infiltrations and sabotages, he was selected by the military as a member of Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets for his impressive skills. He carries his special rifle and the first underwater assault rifle, the APS (Avtomat Podvodny Spetsialnyy) Underwater Assault Rifle.
Igor Spatziki
The Anthro-Spectral Bat is the heavy gunner of the team. Igor Spatziki was a soldier who fought the insurgents and uncovered a cache of stinger missiles in the cave, crippling their anti-air campaign until the peace agreement was signed. After the Cold War ended, he became a mercenary for hire by local governments and contractors until he was recruited by the military as a member of Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets. In his first mission in the jungle warfare, Igor killed hundreds of Black Hell Bat Clansmen coming from the cavern where they appeared from Astragalus through the Planegate with his Kalashnikov Machine Gun singlehandedly.
Mikhail Napalmski
The Dragonkind-like Chavase Dragon or the Fire Snake is the pyrotechnic of the team. Mikhail Napalmski was a fireman who rescued people from the burning apartment several times before it collapsed. But after a daring rescue, however, he was fired for disobeying the direct order and went unemployed for weeks until he enlisted into the military. During the military operation, his Pyrokinesis was suddenly unlocked and burned down the terrorists’ outpost in the village, all by himself to save his comrades. After the military operation, he was secretly transferred to the secret base where trained his psychic power and became a member of Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets. He and his comrade, Nikolai, are the Napalmski Brothers (a unit of flame soldiers) and the rival and counterpart of Volcano.
Nikolai Napalmski
The Dragonkind-like Yilbegan (a Siberian Dragon) is the pyrotechnic of the team. Nikolai Napalmski was a chef for the military, serving with his good meals to conscripts now cadets from the military bootcamp. In his part time, he built his own customized flamethrower for his own personal use until his Pyrokinesis was suddenly unlocked. Later, he carries out the burning of every terrorist in his way since he burned the entire terrorist cell during the military operation. After that, he was secretly recruited by the military as he was transferred to an elite Spetsnaz unit for his fiery skills. He's a cousin of Mikhail and the rival and counterpart of Napalm.
Isabella "Crystal" Romanova
The sexy female Anthro-Spectral Bat and professional thief and assassin of the team. Isabella Romanova was a member of the KGB now FSB who carried out her espionage acts by stealing state secrets from rogue nations and assassinating her targets, quietly. Then, she was recruited by the Federation Front as a member of Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets and learned the betrayal of a rogue general during the civil war so she is the one who brought Rafik Kruchevsky and Lev Stovinsky to Captain Dragunov’s team. One of the most notable missions of her career is that she infiltrated the Black Hell Bat Clan’s camp using her charm and mind manipulation and then killed their leaders, forcing them to flee back to Astragalus. Her personal weapons are an AK-9 sonic assault rifle and OVS-96 anti-armor sniper rifle.
Soyuz Krustovski
The Anthro-Fruit Bat is the scout and locksmith of the team. Soyuz Krustovski who was born in an urban city with his aunt and uncle after his parents died in an unfortunate accident when he was child. After graduating from school, he entered the military academy to become a soldier until he was chosen into Spetsnaz who has a great potential of being a scout and a clear little locksmith. His first mission with Isabella Romanova’s team was scouting the Black Hell Bat Clan’s camp at the ruins and cleared the area afterwards. His psychic abilities are Remote View and Aura View.
Dimitri Dvuglavyyorel
The Avian-like Russian Eagle who is the team's weapon expert and one of the Double-Headed Eagle Unit. Dimitri Dvuglavyyorel was a drill sergeant for the army until he was denied service from going into the regional conflict. After the Cold War ended, he quit the army and moved to the police training facility where trained recruits for the local police until he was recruited by the Federation Front and joined the Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets. After long years of waiting, Dimitri finally got what he really wanted: going into military action against terrorism with his brother, Andrei. He carries the modernization of PPSh-43.
Andrei Dvuglavyyorel
The Avian-like Russian Eagle is the team's observer and one of the Double-Headed Eagle Unit. Andrei Dvuglavyyorel was a police officer from his local town who helped the people on the street by stopping crime, solving minor cases, arresting petty criminals, and drinking a small glass of Vodka. Until one day, he foiled a terror plot when he was called in for a break-in and stumbled upon a gunfight until the local military intervened. After the terrorists have been incarcerated, he was recruited by the military and joined Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets with his brother, Dimitri.He carries PP-90.
Lev Stovinsky
The Russian Dragonkind is the team’s supporter and the master of Mind Powers of the team and “the Brain” of the Gorynych Brothers. Lev Stovinsky is a genius back in high school, studying with psychology and reading books from the library. Later he met his comrades at the bootcamp and fought together during the regional conflict. After the Cold War ended, he was arrested for hooliganism and brought the boozes for boys and sent into the gulag until he was recruited by the military and later rejoined with his fellow comrades during the civil war. He is smart and cunningly intelligent, he has the ability to confuse the enemy by Mind Control, Mind Drain and Mind Manipulation to confuse the enemy.
Rafik Kruchevsky
The hulking Russian Dragonkind is the anti-material and rocket soldier of the team and “the Brawn” of the Gorynych Brothers. Rafik Kruchevsky was a former boxer who won a prize money by breaking their jaws and bones until he was banned due to his iron muscle which he really has no drug use within his body. After that, he joined the army where he met Zemy Dragunov and Lev Stovinsky during the time of a regional conflict. After the Cold War ended, Rafik was arrested for punching the commanding officer at the base and sent into gulag where he was recruited by the military after a prison riot and later reunited with his comrades during the civil war. A tough brute with a big heart, he carries modified AK-12, mixed with KSVK 12.7, RPG-7 and RPO-A Schmel.
Natasha "Fox" Mistanova
The Anthro-Vixen is the top scout of the team. Natasha “Fox” Mistanova was a member of FSS (Federal Security Service) who hunted down one of the Warlord Commandos terrorist groups, the Ferix Brigade, for years until she finally killed the commander responsible for bombing her children’s school. After she killed the mastermind, she was dishonorably discharged for her reckless actions and vengeance until she was recruited by the Federation Front, offering a second chance to redeem herself as a member of Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets. She carries her VKS sniper rifle.
Kristina Grisinova
The Kikimora is the top sniper sharpshooter and trap master of the team. Kristina Grisinova was an orphan who was under the care of the KGB. Unexpectedly, she cleaned everything without leaving any dirt in one hour until she discovered her magic, granting her the ability of sleep paralysis and illusion. At her adult age, she was trained at the secret military base and joined Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets. She carries only SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle with each set of special cartridges like sleeping darts and poison bullets. She took out hundreds of enemy soldiers including the Warlord Commandos and the Cong-Flicters’ M.A.Y.A soldiers.
Vladimir Volgograd
The Dragonkind-like Zilant (a Russian Wyvern) is the co-commander of an elite Spetsnaz unit. Vladimir Volgograd was one of the commanding officers during the regional conflict to fight the local insurgents. After the Cold War ended, he was appointed as the commander of Spetsnaz GRU, carrying out covert operations in foreign countries until he was selected by the Federation Front to lead Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets. He carries his lance and shield and the old rival of Elite Force Lightstorm's Commander Aaron Brightwing.
Alexei Novgorod
The Avian-like Great Horned Owl is the co-commander of an elite Spetsnaz unit. Alexei Novgorod is a legendary war hero who saved his comrades during the regional conflict during the Cold War. After the Cold War ended, he led the elite special forces unit to combat terrorism in the country as he killed the terrorist general, rescued the hostages at from the opera house to the airliner and shut down the missile. Through his status, he was selected by the Federation Front to lead Spetsnaz Alfa Red Berets to fight the Warlords and the Cong-Flicters. He's the old rival of Commander Leo Harold.
