- READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU KNOW IT***
WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS VIOLENCE, BLOOD, AND FLASHING IMAGES!
Finally, after many months of working artworks and stuff, I've completed the short video. Don't even think of that video is short but it has a long smooth animation sequence and many frames which it's all about timing and TIMING is the key.
And speaking of timing, this is my first test animation but it's also my intention for my own Wikia for the introduction page. It started several months ago, when I watched and listened to fnotte's X-COM themes, both remix and metal, and I downloaded from Soundcloud.com some months ago. After I downloaded the Interceptor theme, I asked the permission from the creator, fnotte, and he said yes as long I credited his name with a special thank.
About the animation, I followed the book and draw some storyboard that it can help me; I draw it myself. This storyboard is very resemblance from X-COM Enemy Unknown (the Original) but it's very different from the classic intro. So that's I made these scenes in a different level. Sounds putting together are not what you think: I used Microsoft Movie Maker to make a scene first then put together with another scene. I focused the scenes and timing of the music and I did. It's a long work so I put it all myself around. And speaking of sounds, I looked for free sound effects from websites and information from YouTube. So I used the downloaded sound effects from various free sound effects websites.
I hope you enjoy my first animated video.
